Outdoor Endeavors specializes in adventure trip for teens age 12-17 and have now included trips for the entire family. Our main focus is to create experiential education opportunities.

Outdoor Endeavors will do this by creating difficult, but achievable, experiences.

Loyal customers, Friends, and the Greater OE Family:

It is with much contemplation that Outdoor Endeavors is announcing a one year sabbatical from offering its brand of quality, camper centered adventure trips.  Both of your Adventure Directors, James and Jon, are currently living and working abroad seeking new and different personal, professional, and outdoor adventures.

Throughout this year, OE will continue to look for ways to improve the overall camp experience. Although no trips will depart the summer of 2009, camp will still be a hive of activity. We will be very busy gaining necessary certifications, retooling and updating equipment, reevaluating camp procedures, researching destinations, as well as publishing OE’s signature ‘Milepost’ newsletter keeping an open line of communication. We do this in hopes of emerging in 2010 as a better, more efficient, more camper centered experience with more options than ever before.

In the meantime, we welcome any of your thoughts, questions, and comments by email, encourage you to visit the new ’08 Milepost newsletter, find pictures of your trip now on the website, and explore the new OE Gear Shop for some quality merchandise.

True to the roots of Outdoor Endeavors, and above all else, we want you to get out and experience the joy that spending time outdoors provides. Our vision continues, from over six years ago, to provide a quality, authentic, and rich outdoor experience that ultimately leads to an improved self esteem and lifestyle. We love hearing your experiences and continue to promote those ideals this coming year.

We want to thank everyone who has been a part of camp for the past five years. The improvement and development of OE is a direct result of the wonderful individuals that have played a role in camp, either as campers, group leaders, administrators, advocates, or right on down to simply visiting our website or sending us a ‘Show me your OE’ picture.

We are saddened to have reached this decision, but are excited for the opportunities this year will bring. Keep an eye out for more information coming out of OE Base Camp and our grand reopening in the summer of 2010!
