What kinds of youth join Outdoor Endeavors?           
Youth like you join OE.  They’re active, enthusiastic, love to be outdoors, and are willing to take risks and try new things.

Do I need any experience?                                          
OE’s programs are designed to give you the training and experience you need to feel comfortable and confident, and experience success while pushing yourself to new and great heights.

Is everything we do safe?                                              
Safety is always our primary concern.  Adventure programs do have some element of inherent risk.  Most organized sports show a much higher rate of injury than adventure programs. We will try to reduce the risk of injury by practicing accepted safety procedures and by preparing you as much as possible before and during trips.

Where do we check-in and check-out?                        
All our trips have a check in and out location in Manitowoc and Milwaukee, WI. We will pick up and drop off any campers that fly in and out of Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

Where do we sleep and when do we shower?                
We camp each night and you chose whether you will sleep in a tent or under the stars. Most often we are out on the trail but we also use rustic campgrounds when necessary. Tents are never co-ed. Showers are typically between two-three days apart.

What is included in a custom trip? 
Custom trips are run the same way our teen trips are run. We still provide tents, sleeping pads, transportation, any trip specific equipment and food. The only difference is that you get to make the itinerary! We are also willing to work with your group to accommodate any meal preferences or any other ideas you may have.

When should I sign up for the trip I would like to go on?    
We encourage you to sign up as early as possible to ensure that you get a spot on the trip of your choice. We are expecting trips to fill up fast so sign up as soon as possible. After Outdoor Endeavors has received your application you will get a detailed, trip-specific packing list along with our OE Guide. Prior to the trip you will also receive a phone call from our trip coordinators to answer any other questions you might have.
