Surf & Turf Sunday, July 13 – Friday, July 18 $800 4 Days Kayaking This is Outdoor Endeavors surf and turf adventure. On the surf menu isn’t lobster, but Peninsula State Park. There we will relish in the beauty of Door County’s scenic coves, lighthouses, and sandy beaches. Campers will learn or enhance their sea kayaking skills on the clear, calm waters of Green Bay. We’ll spend some time learning or reviewing the basics of sea kayaking; including paddling techniques and open water rescues. Then, we are off to enjoy day trips with the rest of our time on the water. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone interested in kayaking or for the seasoned veteran as well. For our ‘turf’ entrée, we will be hitting some mountain bike trails. Peninsula State Park boasts over 15 miles of mountain bike trails. For our second course, we will be making a trip to The Reforestation Camp outside Green Bay, which is home to one of the Wisconsin Off Road Series mountain bike race events.
